ALUMINIUM CEILINGS

Nova’s new range of decorative aluminium ceiling and suspension systems are designed to be permanent, lightweight and virtually maintenance free. The ceilings can be painted to coordinate with the rooms colour scheme. These ceilings are ideal for bathrooms and kitchens as they don’t discolour and can be wiped down. Aluminium Ceilings won’t rust won’t crack and won’t fall off. The material they are made from is non-porous so it resists moisture and odour. Installing an aluminium ceiling will prevent further restoration problems in later years. The slats come in sizes 70mm, 90mm and 127mm.

ALUMINUM VENETIAN BLINDS

The Venetian blind is a versatile solution to any room where light control and privacy are needed.Blinds comprise of high tensile, vinyl coated aluminium slats. The standard slat widths are 25mm, 35mm and 50mm with cords and ladders and where the head and bottom rails are colour coordinated to match the colour of the slats. The head rail comes complete with end caps, plated steel universal installation brackets (50mm) and plated steel fixing clip brackets.

The 50mm aluminium Venetian can be fitted with ladder string or tape. The aluminium wood-look blind with wood trimmings is an exciting product that is an alternative to real wood. When wood trimmings are requested the blind is fitted with a real wood valance, bottom rail, wand and toggle which gives the blind an authentic wood look. This can be fitted into large-sized windows with ease as they are far lighter than wood and easy to handle.

WOODEN VENETIAN BLINDS

Wooden Blinds are a true wood product that can have a variation in colour, grain texture and to some extent minimal warp as these are natural characteristics of wood. Wood Venetians are not recommended for humid areas as they cannot be guaranteed against a natural tendency therefore one must be careful not to install them in areas where ventilation is minimal.

Wooden blinds come with ladder string or cloth tape which is colour coordinated to the colour of the blind. The head rail is covered with a wood valance which finishes off the product beautifully.

Wood Venetians cannot give total light block-out so a room will always have a certain amount of light. However, wooden blinds will close sufficiently to ensure privacy. Wood blinds are heavier than other types of blinds making them more difficult to pull up. It is therefore advisable not to order too large a size.

All wood used comes from sustainable forests and the slat widths are available in 25 mm, 35mm and 50mm.

ROLLER BLINDS

Roller blinds are functional and decorative with light, sight or sun protection. Depending on the sunlight and the desired degree of shading or sight protection you desire, you can choose from a wide range of roller blind fabrics, from absolutely dense textiles to fine almost transparent fabrics.

The days of the well-known “jumping roller blinds” (spring loaded mechanism) are long gone. By means of a side control mechanism the blind can easily be stopped at a desired position.

ROMAN BLINDS

Roman Blinds offers you the look of a costly custom workroom shade. Tailored and sleek, these window shades are made of fine drapery fabrics, with superior head-rail and control systems that make them much easier to install and operate.

Roman Blinds are attached to a Venetian blind head-rail, comprising the necessary drums and cords and works with a cord lock system. By means of this mechanism the blind can be drawn up to the desired height and locked into position. The mounting brackets are of nickel-plated steel.

The woven wood collection comprises of the Pinoleum blinds that are made from veneers of natural wood and reeds and then woven together in different combinations of natural Abachiwood, Reedswood, bamboo, jute, Hardgrass and Seagrass.
